ByDoc ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered document processing and productivity application that enables users to manage, analyze, and generate insights from their files, including AI-based document tools and meeting summaries. Protecting your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and safeguard user information.

By using ByDoc, you agree to this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of our User Agreement (the "Terms").

• Files and documents selected by the user for processing

2. File Access Permissions

ByDoc requires file access permissions strictly for document handling features.

• On Android 11 and above: We use All Files Access permission only to access document files on your device.
• On Android versions below 11, we use the Read Storage permission for accessing files.

We do NOT access, scan, or collect files without your action.

Important: Only the files that you explicitly select are accessed and processed.

3. File Processing and Security

• Files selected for AI processing are uploaded to secure servers.
• Files are processed only for the requested feature.
• All uploaded files are automatically deleted after processing.

We do not permanently store your files.

4. Microphone Permission

ByDoc uses microphone access for the AI Meeting Summary feature.

• The microphone is used only while the app is in use.
• No background recording occurs.
• Audio is processed only when you actively use the feature.

5. Data Usage

We use collected data to:

• Provide AI-powered document processing
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Fix bugs and optimize features

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

6. In-App Purchases

ByDoc offers in-app purchases, including subscription plans and consumable items (gems).

• Refundable Products: Some subscriptions or plans may be eligible for refunds based on platform policies.
• Non-Refundable Products: Consumable items such as gems are non-refundable once purchased and used.

All purchases are processed securely via official app stores.

You have full control over your data:

• You choose which files to upload
• You can stop using permissions at any time via device settings
• You can uninstall the app to stop all data collection
